KOURAPIEDES

Materials
300 gr. Unsalted butter
150 gr. Powdered sugar
600 gr. Flour for all uses
½ teaspoon of Baking Powder
1 sachet Vanilla
120 gr. Almonds (roasted and broken into thick pieces)
30 gr. Rum or Cognac
Icing sugar extra for sprinkling

 

Implementation
Beat the butter with the powdered sugar in the mixer with the paddle attachment at high speed for about 20 minutes.
Then gradually add the flour, baking powder and vanilla. Continue beating at a lower speed for 10 minutes.
Then add the almonds and rum. Continue mixing for a little while longer.
Shape into 3 cm diameter round patties and press them lightly on top with your finger.
Put them on a baking sheet with parchment paper and bake them in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
Finally, take them out of the oven, let them cool very well and sprinkle them with a lot of powdered sugar.
