BREADED Halloumi

For the sauce
4 red peppers (cut into large cubes)
½ teaspoon Chili
150 gr. Sugar
150 ml Water
100 ml Vinegar
1 spoonful of tomato paste
For the halloumi
400 gr. Halloumi (cut into sticks)
100 gr. Flour for all uses
1 spoon Oregano
4 eggs
100 gr. Breadcrumbs)
60 gr. Sesame seeds (white and black)
300 ml Sunflower oil (for frying)
Salt Pepper


For the sauce
Put all the ingredients in the blender and grind well. Then transfer the sauce to a saucepan and put it on low heat to thicken.
For the halloumi
Place the sunflower oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Put the flour, oregano, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix. Set aside.
Put the eggs in another bowl and beat them well with a whisk. Set aside.
Then put the toast with the sesame seeds in a pan and keep them aside as well.
Then, one by one, place the pieces of halloumi in the flour, eggs and breadcrumbs. You are doing well.
Transfer to the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy.
Finally, serve them warm, with the sauce on the side.
